Cherish

The girls and I have been having the loveliest time!
I'm just cherishing every minute with them & I haven't been taking as many photos
as usual but I wanted to share this beautiful hand carved ship
that Daniel made. My boy just blows me away :-)
The old books were at a really cool little Cafe-Bistro we went to yesterday
that had the best soft pretzels & cappuccinos!

Daniel's ship is so beautiful! He is truly talented. Old books on a shelf...like an old friend to me. :)
That's the prettiest tiny ship I've ever seen! Oh! and the books...I could spend hours and hours pouring over those. Have a great weekend.
He is incredibly talented!
Love the old books...
I am about to paint a 4x8 painting just of books for a back-drop for our school's play here in Canada...so I hope you don't mind, I may use your photo for a visual study.
Enjoy the time you have left with Margie and Arounna...

My daughter and I just watched a very sweet little (older) animated video called "The Mousehole Cat" on Amazon Prime, about a cat and his owner who save Mousehole, Cornwall from a storm. It was so sweet, with lovely artwork (adapted from a book), and then I checked in here and Daniel's little boat looks like it should be in that film. :)
Hi, I'm a huge fan of your blog. I just wanted to tell you how much I love your posts, and your absolutely stunning photographs!
Have a wonderful weekend :)
What a little tiny ship. I love it. I dream to sail away with it... :) Yna
I've just started to read your blog and I love your photographs. There is so much sunshine and light in every one, I can almost feel it! Its usually quite overcast here in the West of Ireland where I am from - its so good to catch a glimpse of your beautiful country. Thanks!
I guess I don't have any idea of where you live except that it is in Mexico. I have an image that it's somewhere remote and off the beaten path-which is a good thing. When I saw the video of the cafe, I realized you're not so far removed from "the world" as I know it. A good thing also. I really must get to Mexico.
Happy to hear you're having fun with your friends!
Oh the ship is fabulous! :)
Very talented...Daniel can turn his hand to many things! Painting, woodcarving. Great to see his creativity.
That bookshelf if divine as are all of those lovely old books.
About to check out the cafe...enjoy!

Love the ship! Wouldn't it be fun to have several of them as ornaments for a Christmas tree at a beach house!
Thank you for letting us in on some of the cherishable moments you are having with your dear, dear friends...you girls must be having the best time exploring, creating, relating, etc...And Daniel's boat is awesome, he has such talent.
That boat is amazing! And loved the bookshelves. I have been watching your blog and LOVE IT.
You have reason to be proud !!!!!

Happy Easter Geninne. Have fun celebrating with the whole gang!
That boat is sooooo cute. We actually live on a sailboat and have a site for our adventures and another site for the adventures of the Legos on the boat. He might be a bit old for the site but can check it out at EveryKidsTravelClub.com if he's interested. I really love your site and your monthly screen savers help me to stay on track with the date. (We bought a few of your boat prints before we dreamed of moving onto a sailboat and really love them.)
